- Stephen Perry death inquest 'an emotional roller coaster' for miner's family
- Stephen Perry death inquest begins 2nd day at Sudbury courthouse
- Vale won't be charged in mine worker's death
Perry died underground at Vale's Coleman mine in Levack on Jan. 29, 2012, when a 14-tonne chunk of rock face came loose, killing him.
Witnesses have been testifying at the mandatory inquiry since Monday morning.
Vale, the Steelworker's union and Perry's family have all made recommendations about what they think should change in the wake of the 47-year-old's death.
The jury ultimately decides what recommendations should be adopted by the mine or the industry, if any.
Those recommendations are not binding.
