A snowmobile crash over the weekend left two people dead and sent a one-year-old to hospital.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened Saturday shortly after 6:30 p.m. on the Murdock River near Alban, Ont., which is located 72 kilometres south of Sudbury.
Police say a 42-year-old man was riding a snowmachine near some ice fishing huts when he collided with a 29-year-old woman and both were killed.
A one-year-old was taken to hospital with with non-life threatening injuries.
The snowmobile driver has been identified as James Nathan Wright, 42, of the French River, Ont., area.
The woman has been identified as 29-year-old Julie Piotrowski, who is also from the French River area.
Police say an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
