The popular Pokemon Go app has made its mark in Sudbury, and players are trying to catch them all.

So far 50 locations, or Pokestops, have popped up around the city, and users can use their smart phones to see Pokemon characters interacting with the player's real-time environment.

So many Pokestops have dotted the city, Pokemon Go player Darien Taylor set up a map for other players to keep track of them all.

According to a newly created Facebook group called Sudbury Pokemon Go, many of the stops appear affixed to iconic buildings or around well known landmarks, including sculptures and murals.

Memorial Park in Sudbury is a central location with three Pokestops, according to the user map, with others appearing near downtown churches, fire halls, and restaurants.

Players have become so engaged in the game, Sudbury Police issued a warning to players about staying alert, even when focused on their screens.
