Police report officers in Temiskaming were called to a hospital last week after the boy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries he suffered while riding on a tractor in Harley Township.
A 31-year-old New Liskeard man is charged with having a blood-alcohol level over 80 milligrams, causing bodily harm and impaired driving causing bodily harm.
The man is to appear in court on Nov. 10.
