Nineteen-year-old Jacob Mimeault of Serpent River First Nation succumbed to injuries on Oct. 26, more than three weeks after he was struck between the First Nation and Spanish.
The investigation is continuing, police said. They have asked anyone with information about the crash to contact the East Algoma OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
