Reginald Berard faces 2nd degree murder charge in Sudbury homicide case

A 23-year-old Sudbury man is facing charges following a homicide earlier this month.

Reginald Berard appeared briefly in bail court Monday morning. On Saturday, police arrested and charged Berard with second degree murder and breach of probation. 

On Nov. 3, police were called to a home on Melvin Street to investigate the death of 51-year-old Marcel Raymond Couillard. Police say the victim and accused knew eachother.

Berard is scheduled to appear again in bail court on Thursday.
