51-year-old died in 'serious incident' on Melvin Avenue

Sudbury police say they believe the death was as a result of "foul play" but are still investigating to find out what happened.

Sudbury police say they believe the death of a 51-year-old man on Melvin Avenue Tuesday night was as a result of "foul play" but are still investigating to find out what happened.

Police were called to an apartment in the Donovan-Flour Mill area of the city shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday and found the man, who was later pronounced dead. 

Police say their investigation is in the early stages as they try to figure out how the 51-year-old died. Authorities have not yet released his name. 

No one is in custody at this time.
