The University of Saskatchewan has come up with a novel way of dealing with the transit lockout.

Starting on Friday, 10 yellow school buses will be picking up students, faculty and staff who have no other way of getting to campus.

The bus stops will be located near malls and parking lots across the city.

The university said the buses are only for people who have no other way of getting to campus.

Only 47 passengers will be allowed on each bus.

University of Saskatchewan ID will be required to get on the bus.
