Regina police investigating city's 6th homicide of 2024

Regina police are investigating the city's sixth homicide after the death of a man found severely injured Thursday evening.

Regina police are investigating the city's sixth homicide after the death of a man found severely injured Thursday evening.

Officers were called to Robinson Street near Albert Community School just before 6 p.m. CST Thursday, according to a police news release.

They found an injured man. Officers tried life-saving measures, but he was declared dead at the scene.

Regina police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating the death.

The victim's name has not been released.

"At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public," the news release said.
