Saskatoon police arrest suspect in homicide investigation

Saskatoon police have arrested a 40 year old suspect in connection with a homicide in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.

Saskatoon police have arrested a 40-year-old suspect in connection with a homicide in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.

On Tuesday, police were called to the 200 block of Avenue D N. after a report of a man being injured.

The man was taken to hospital, where he later died.

On Wednesday, members of the Guns and Gangs unit arrested a 40-year-old male suspect. Police said charges are pending as the investigation continues.

A news release said police are not searching for other suspects.

This is the city's fourth homicide of 2021.
