Htoo refuses to come to phone at court appearance
T'na Htoo, 31, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with Saskatoon's third homicide of 2021.
It's alleged that Htoo fatally stabbed a 23-year-old Saskatoon man in front of an apartment building on 20th Street W on March 5 at around 5:30 p.m. CST.
Court documents identify Donovan Shepherd as the man who died.
Htoo appeared in provincial court Monday from the Saskatoon Correctional Centre. When reached by phone at the jail to be formally charged, Htoo refused to take the call.
The charge was read into the record.
He returns to court March 15.
