The trial for three men accused of killing Isho Hana begins today.

Jonathan Kenneth Dombrowsky, Long Nam Luu and Kennith Tingle are all charged with first-degree murder. The trial starts this morning and is expected to run until October.

On April 15, 2004, Hana, 34, was chased down and shot on Preston Avenue in Saskatoon.

It is believed that Hana was caught up in a drug turf war that featured the Hells Angels, the Terror Squad, and a gang from Calgary that was trying to establish a presence in Saskatoon.

At the time of his death, Hana was out on bail, waiting to stand trial for selling cocaine, ecstasy and steroids.

Neil Lee Yakimchuk, 34, is already serving a life sentence for the murder of Hana. Yakimchuk is appealing the trial outcome.
