Two men are facing charges after a Saskatoon police investigation into fentanyl trafficking.
Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) — made up of members of the Saskatoon Police Service and RCMP F Division — were conducting an investigation when they witnessed what appeared to be activity consistent with drug trafficking.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man in the 3500 block of John A. MacDonald Road and an 18-year-old man at a traffic stop at Lorne Avenue and Circle Drive.
Police seized six fentanyl pills, more than $500 in cash, cell phones, and a BMW X3.
Both men are expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Thursday.
