A warm flow of Pacific air combined with little or no snow meant several warm weather records were broken in Saskatchewan on Saturday, according to Environment Canada.

People brought out their golf clubs in Regina where the 29-year record high temperature of 16 C was beat with a beautifully warm 17.3 C.

The 14.2 C temperature in Elbow, Sask., crushed the village's previous record from 1968 of 10.6 C. Elbow is located near Lake Diefenbaker.

Records were also broken at Last Mountain Lake, Lucky Lake, Maple Creek, and Val Marie.

Environment Canada said more record breaking temperatures are possible for Sunday with highs expected again in the mid-to-high teens.
