An early morning power outage knocked out traffic lights on Idylwyld Drive.

Drivers were also urged to check the Highway Hotline before hitting the roads due to slippery, slushy conditions.

Meanwhile, Air Canada issued a travel alert for the Saskatoon and Regina airports.

Despite the upheaval, some of you managed to stay positive

Others, not so much...

And some were downright disgusted

Oh, and, it is going to be windy! We can do it, we're prairie people!

Have a story about how you plan to conquer the winter? Let me know.
