Sask. photographer captures action shots of birds of prey
Photographer Amanda Ubell says the owls are moving in
Amanda Ubell and her camera have been busy this winter.
The professional photographer, based in Unity, Sask. has some new neighbours this year.
"I have seen more owls this year then I ever have before," wrote Ubell in a photo submission to CBC. "One has taken up residence at our farm!"
Ubell said she has been busy this winter documenting all of the birds of prey in the area.
Ubell said she spends a lot of time outside with her camera, shooting nature.
"I am of course addicted to my camera and photograph not only people but just about anything," she said.
But raptors are her favourite.
"I shoot a lot of birds and love the larger birds of prey," Ubell said.
