3 men arrested after alleyway armed robbery in Saskatoon

The Saskatoon Police have taken three people into custody after an armed robbery shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Saskatoon Police have taken three people into custody after an armed robbery shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday morning.  

A 25 year-old man and a 21-year-old-woman reported that they were held-up by three men in the alley on the 700 block of 29th St. W.

They said one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and a knife.

The victims provided a description of the suspects as well as the GMC vehicle they were driving.

Patrol officers spotted the suspect vehicle on Spadina Crescent 20 minutes later and it was stopped near the Archibald Arena.

All three men in the vehicle were arrested and a firearm and several knives were found, along with personal property belonging to the victims.  

No one was injured in the incident.

The suspects — aged 34, 26 and 20 — are all in custody.  

Police said the investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
