A poem that a P.E.I. woman penned for her father on lobster setting day more than 20 years ago when she was six made the rounds on social media Friday.
Crystal Neary from North Lake, in eastern P.E.I., posted a picture of the poem to her Facebook page in honour of her father Russell Bailey, a 40-year-fisherman, who died in the fall.
She also wanted to celebrate all the Island fishermen heading out on the water Friday, the first day of the lobster season.
"Little did I know that it would have gotten some feedback and some love and lots of shares," said Neary.
