Swift reaction to Ottawa Redblacks mascot unveiled Monday

Ottawans were quick to give their thoughts on the new Ottawa Redblacks football team mascot, which was unveiled at an Ottawa 67's hockey game on Monday.

The mascot hasn't yet been named. The team said it plans to hold a naming campaign.

Early name suggestions on Twitter included Big Joe Mufferaw, after the Ottawa Valley French Canadian folk hero popularized in a song of the same name by Stompin' Tom Connors.
