You can walk, ride your bike, take the bus, or park and catch a free ride to Lansdowne Park for the Ottawa Redblacks home opener.

There are 12 free lots in Ottawa and five more in Gatineau where Redblacks ticket holders can park their cars and catch a free shuttle or bus to TD Place. There is also secure on-site bicycle parking.

The City of Ottawa, Glebe residents and Redblacks owner Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group have been discouraging fans from driving to the stadium due to limited street parking in the area.

Residents on some streets near Lansdowne Park successfully petitioned the city to change free parking limits from three hours to one hour.

The city has also warned homeowners near the stadium that selling a parking spot is against zoning bylaws and punishable with a fine of up to $5,000.

An estimated 25,000 fans are expected at the sold-out game between the Ottawa Redblacks and the Toronto Argonauts on Friday. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
