Pedestrian hit crossing Victoria Road in Dartmouth

Another pedestrian has been hit by a car in Dartmouth.

Another pedestrian has been hit by a car in Dartmouth.

A 54-year-old man was struck while crossing at the intersection of Victoria Road and Albro Lake Road early Sunday morning. He has serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Police were called to the scene just after 1 a.m.

The 20-year-old woman driving the car was not hurt and police have not said if they intend to lay charges.

This collision marks the second time this weekend a pedestrian was hit in Dartmouth. On Friday evening, a 74-year-old man was hit inside a crosswalk at the corner of Portland Hills Drive and Portland Estates Boulevard.
