77-year-old Delhaven man dead after Highway 101 crash

RCMP say a 77-year-old Delhaven, N.S., man is dead after a Saturday morning crash on Highway 101 near Wolfville, N.S.

Collision happened near exit 11 on Saturday morning

RCMP say a 77-year-old Delhaven, N.S., man is dead after a Saturday morning crash on Highway 101 near Wolfville, N.S.

In a news release, RCMP say the man was driving a truck that collided with a tractor-trailer travelling in the opposite direction near exit 11.

The Delhaven man was taken to hospital and declared dead.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

A stretch of the highway was closed for several hours Saturday, but later reopened.
