Itching to get outside? 10 Yukon campgrounds set to open this weekend
The Yukon government is opening 10 campgrounds a week early, to extend the Yukon camping season.

If Yukon's summer-like weather forecast has you itching to get outside this weekend, you're in luck — some territorial campgrounds are opening early.
It's part of the government's early-opening program to extend the Yukon camping season.
The following campgrounds will be open for the season starting Friday:
- Congdon Creek
- Fox Lake
- Lake Laberge
- Marsh Lake
- Pine lake
- Snafu Lake
- Squanga lake
- Tarfu Lake
- Twin Lakes
- Wolf Creek
All other territorial campgrounds will open May 20, just before the holiday weekend. Yukoners can camp for free throughout May.
Once open, all government campgrounds will be maintained until September 12.
