Nick Holden runs a transport company that specializes in tractor trailer trucks and vehicles for construction — but his heart belongs to vintage automobiles.

He recently bought a 1946 Chevrolet Suburban wagon. In their spare time, Holden and some of his employees have been restoring it.

"I like the look of it. That's why I bought it," said Holden.

"And we're trying to put it back as good as we can."

Holden and his crew have refurbished the interior in as close to period style as they could, and they've installed a new engine and electrical components.

The vehicle has been licenced, and Holden hopes to test it out on the road in the next few days.

"It's very rewarding. Every nut and bolt came out of this [vehicle]," he said.

"And now it's just about ready for the road."
