Roundabout entrance coming to new Paul Reynolds Centre
The City of St. John's is warning drivers about the installation of a roundabout outside a new community centre.
Starting June 27, crews will be installing a roundabout at the entrance of the Paul Reynolds Centre off Carrick Drive.
The roundabout is expected to be finished before school starts back up in September.
Construction will happen during daytime hours and there will be limited sidewalk access and lane reductions. An alternate route is advised during this time.
The city will be offering public information sessions in August about how to use the new roundabout.
The new centre is replacing the old Wedgewood Park recreation centre.
Reynolds was the last mayor of Wedgewood Park before the town's amalgamation with St. John's. He later served on St. John's city council.
