Police arrest 2 after west coast cabin break-ins

RCMP officers on the west coast of Newfoundland arrested two people Thursday in connection with a string of cabin break-ins in the Flat Rock Brook area.

Police had asked the public's help in finding the man and woman they believed to be responsible for the break-ins.

Officers found the couple they were looking for in a residence at Shallop Cove Thursday morning.

Police said the male suspect had been evading capture and was surviving by breaking into cabins and stealing food and supplies.
