Marble Mountain's new high-speed chair lift to open Friday

Marble Mountain has announced that the new high-speed chair lift, the Lightning Express, will open on Friday.  

The ski resort in Steady Brook has been scrambling to get the new lift open all season, with technical issues causing numerous delays in getting it up and operational.

The new lift is replacing the old Governor's Express, which burned last August after being struck by lightning.

Marble said the Lightning Express will open to the public at noon on Friday, following a grand opening ceremony.
