Kaetlyn Osmond looks to share her love of skating with kids in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
Marystown-born figure skater Kaetlyn Osmond is returning to the province this weekend to perform and teach local kids about the sport.
"I love teaching the younger skaters," Osmond told CBC Radio's Labrador Morning.

"It just reminds me of what it was like when I was at a small town club and people were coming to teach me."
The Olympic medalist will take the ice this weekend in Happy Valley-Goose Bay in two shows.
While Osmond has been to Labrador before, she is looking forward to performing on the ice and interacting with her young fans.
"For me, everything came so fast that it's hard to believe it still happened," Osmond said. "But to be able to help the kids in the workshop, it brings me back to my own skating and why I love skating."

Osmond said she tries to come up with exercises to keep the kids engaged so they won't bore easily.
After they get over their shyness around the athlete, the kids are typically full of questions about the Olympics. When trying to sum up the experience in Sochi in 2014, Osmond is at a loss for words.
"The Olympics was absolutely phenomenal, it's even hard to describe even two years after the event. It was just unbelievable from the moment I got there," Osmond said.
"There's no way to describe it."
As for the future, Osmond will start training for competitions this summer — and the Olympics is still very much on her mind.
"It's definitely my goal," she said.
Osmond will perform March 25 and 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Area in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
