Deaths of two found in car ruled accidental by police

The RNC said the 20 year old man and 17 year old girl died accidentally, after being discovered Tuesday afternoon by someone walking on a side road near Windsor Lake, just off Portugal Cove Road.

The deaths of the two people found in a car at the edge of St. John's have been ruled accidental.

The RNC have also released the ages of the deceased. The man was 20 years old and the girl was 17.

The vehicle was discovered Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. by someone walking on a side road near Windsor Lake, just off Portugal Cove Road. 

RNC investigating discovery of bodies inside car in St. John's

Const. Steve Curnew said the two were unresponsive when crews arrived on Tuesday, and officials with the Medical Examiner's Office pronounced them dead at the scene.
