What's open, closed, planned on Remembrance Day in N.B.
Transit won't run in Saint John, Fredericton
Remembrance Day falls on a Monday this year and most grocery and retail stores will close.
Municipal services and schools will also observe the holiday.
Transit will not run in Saint John and Fredericton on Monday, while certain bus routes will run in Moncton.
Here's a glimpse at what's open and closed in New Brunswick on Remembrance Day.
Retail and grocery:

Some Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be open under regular hours, with others operating with reduced hours. Certain locations will be closed.

Walmart, Sobeys and Atlantic Superstore locations will be closed.

N.B. Liquor locations will be closed.

Regent Mall, McAllister Place and Champlain Place will be closed.

The Saint John City Market will be closed.
Government offices, public services:

Saint John Transit and Fredericton Transit will not be running.

Codiac Transpo in Moncton will operate on a modified schedule.

Regular garbage and fall leaf collection will occur across the province.

Fredericton arenas and the indoor pool will follow regular hours.

Saint John City Hall, Fredericton City Hall, Moncton City Hall and city administrative offices will be closed.

Public libraries that are normally open Mondays will be closed.

Remembrance Day falls during the fall study/reading break for many universities, including Mount Allison University, St. Thomas University and the University of New Brunswick.
Remembrance Day services:
Remembrance Day ceremonies will be happening across the province on Monday. Many of those ceremonies can be found by searching on the Royal Canadian Legion website. The following are ceremonies set to take place in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton.
Moncton
- Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 6 will have a Remembrance Day ceremony at 10 a.m., at the Moncton Coliseum.
- A community Remembrance Day ceremony will be held in Moncton at Victoria Park, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 54 will have a Remembrance Day ceremony from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Sunny Brae Park. A procession beginning at 10:45 a.m. from the Sunny Brae Legion will cause traffic to be held for about 15 minutes. Another traffic interruption will occur at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Saint John
- A Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at TD Station in Saint John at 11 a.m. The public is asked to be seated by 10:15.
- An 11 a.m. ceremony is scheduled for Jervis Bay-Ross Memorial Park in Saint John.
- A Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery field of honour will take place at 9:00 a.m.
- Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 69 will host a ceremony at the cenotaph, at 750 Manawagonish Road, at 11 a.m.
- A wreath laying will take place at the Memorial Public Gardens at 2 p.m.
Fredericton
- A Remembrance Day ceremony at the provincial cenotaph, on King Street in Fredericton, will run from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
