NDG murder suspect now wanted for attempted murder in Lachenaie
Police say Frédérick Silva's alleged victim, gunned down in restaurant, was connected to organized crime
The SQ believes Silva is armed and dangerous, and they're advising anyone who sees him to call 911 immediately.
Montreal police already issued a Canada-wide warrant for Silva in June.
February shooting tied to organized crime
Provincial police said Wednesday they believe last Feb. 21, Silva entered a restaurant in Lachenaie, a suburb just north of Montreal's eastern tip, accompanied by 10 other people.
They said he approached the victim and opened fire several times.
The victim was able to flee the restaurant, and Silva followed him into the parking lot before fleeing in his vehicle, a red Range Rover.
The victim survived. Investigators said he's connected to organized crime.
Police said they have identified five of the people with Silva and are still trying to identify five others.
Also wanted for strip club murder
Silva is also wanted in connection with a murder at the Cabaret Les Amazones strip club in Montreal in May.
In that case, Montreal police said a 28-year-old man was shot and killed after an altercation between two groups that started in the club and spilled out into the parking lot.
They said Silva then fled in an SUV with three other suspects.
Silva is white, 5-9" and 194 pounds and has several tattoos.
Provincial police said he's now on a list of the 10 most wanted criminals in Quebec.
