Montreal police are asking for the public's help locating a 36-year-old man who they believe is responsible for the fatal shooting last week outside the Cabaret Les Amazones, a strip club in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.

Frederick Silva is wanted in connection with the city's 10th homicide of 2017. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The 28-year-old victim was killed following the shooting in the strip club parking lot on May 24.

Police say Silva was driving an SUV in which he and three other people fled the scene following the incident.

Silva is five feet nine inches, weighs 194 pounds and has multiple tattoos.

Police say he is considered "armed and dangerous."

Anyone with information about Silva is asked to contact Montreal police by dialling 911.
