Man, 34, dies after stabbing in Montreal's east end
A 34-year-old man has died after being found near the corner of Ontario and Saint-Germain streets in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood.
Death in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve marks 5th homicide on the island in 2025

Montreal police are investigating an overnight homicide in the east end of the city.
A 34-year-old man was found suffering from serious stab wounds near the corner of Ontario and Saint-Germain streets in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood at around 1 a.m. Friday.
Police believe he was attacked a few blocks away.
He was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police have no suspects and are looking for witnesses and surveillance footage.
The death marks the fifth homicide of the year in Montreal.
