Montreal Jazz Fest 2015: Beirut, Barr Brothers top free outdoor lineup
Free concert schedule announced for 36th edition of the fest
The outdoor stages at 36th edition of the Montreal International Jazz Festival will feature some indie rock, folk and a tribute to the King of Blues.
The Montreal International Jazz Festival has released its lineup of free offerings for the week-long engagement at Quartier des Spectacles.
This year's festival features more than 600 shows and free events, including two big draws on the outdoor TD Stage.
Beirut will open the festival on June 26 at 9 p.m. ET and Montreal's own Barr Brothers will hit the same stage June 30.
The 36th edition of the festival is dedicated to the late King of Blues, B.B. King. A "Grand Blues Evening" honouring King will close out the festival on July 5 on the TD Stage.
