Little Italy restaurants band together to offer valet parking
Service available for $7 with receipt from participating business, $17 without
A group of restaurants in Little Italy want diners to know that parking won't be a problem for the rest of the summer.
The merchants association of Little Italy and Jean-Talon Market is coordinating the new valet parking initiative, which will operate until October 30, 2016.
Visitors who have a receipt from one of the participating businesses can pay $7 for the service and those without one can pay $17.

The valet service will be operational Thursday through Sunday from 5 p.m. onward and during the weekend lunchtime rush, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers can drop off their car at two different spots: 6717 St-Laurent, just above Saint Zotique Street, and 6827 St-Dominique Street, corner Dante Street.
The participating businesses are Boccone, Corneli, Café International ,Café Epoca, Pomodoro, Inferno, Impasto, Cafe Via Dante and Piatto Pieno.
A spokesperson for the merchants association, Audrey Febvre, said the measures will "contribute to the revitalization, animation and dynamism of the sector, a benefit for both residents as business customers."
