Longueuil police are setting up a command post today in their search for a missing woman and her child.

Jian Ping Li and her son, who was six months old at the time, disappeared exactly a year ago — on April 30, 2014.

Police are hopeful the command post, set up at the corner of Sabourin Crescent and Stravinski Avenue in Brossard from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., will help lead to new clues in the case.

The mother and child were reported missing by the woman's husband.

He had left the Brossard family home in the morning and when he returned both his wife and son were gone.

At the time, police said Li left her identification, money and personal effects behind, including the baby stroller.
