Jian Ping Li and infant son Xiao Feng from Brossard still missing
Command post set up by Longueuil police near family home from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Longueuil police are setting up a command post Wednesday morning to continue their investigation into the disappearance of Brossard woman Jian Ping Li, 42, and her six-month-old son, Xiao Feng Lu.
The command post will be set up from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of Sabourin Crescent and Stravinski Avenue in Brossard.
A $5,000 reward is also being offered by Sun Youth, from an anonymous donor, for information leading to the discovery of the missing mother and child.
Li and Xiao Feng were reported missing last Wednesday by her husband, who left the family home at 9:40 a.m. the morning of April 30. When he returned at 2:30 p.m., both she and their son were gone.
According to Longueuil police, Li left behind her ID, money and other personal effects, as well as the baby stroller. She left either on foot or was picked up or taken.
Li is of Asian origin and has shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She is 4-feet-9-inches tall (1.52 metres) and weighs 143 pounds (65 kilograms). She wears prescription glasses and was possibly wearing a long black coat and yellow sneakers when she left home. She speaks Mandarin, as well as English and French.

Friends worried
Members of the church where Li worships say they are worried about the young mother of three and her son.
Kang Liu says her thoughts are with Li's two other children and her husband.
"With this event we really realize we are family, and she's our family member and we are praying for her 24 hours," she told CBC News.
