Woman missing in Portage la Prairie since last week found safe

A Manitoba woman who was missing for nearly a week has been located safe.

The 20-year-old woman was last seen at a convenience store in Portage la Prairie on Oct. 23 and was reported missing to the RCMP on Sunday, police said in a news release. 

In an update on Monday afternoon, RCMP said she had been found.

CBC News has removed her name and image to protect her identity now that she has been found.
