Thanks to help from a provincially-appointed conciliation officer, the city said it and the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1505 have struck a deal.
The settlement offer still has to be ratified by the 1,100 bus drivers and 250 maintenance workers represented by the union.
This is the second tentative deal between the city and union in recent weeks.
