Missing man last seen in RM of St. Clements found dead, police say
RCMP investigating Kristopher Sandy's death
A man last seen in the RM of St. Clements on Thursday night has been found dead, RCMP say.
Kristopher Sandy, 19, left his home at about 10 p.m.Thursday to go for a drive in the municipality about 40 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
He was reported missing Friday afternoon, RCMP said in a news release.
After the initial investigation, RCMP learned Sandy's vehicle had been found in a ditch off Highway 12 just before 7 a.m. on Friday.
However, when first responders and police officers went to the scene they found no signs of Sandy, Mounties said.
Police say the cause of his death is under investigation.
