Man found after being last seen in Winnipeg's North End on Tuesday afternoon

A request by Winnipeg police for help finding a missing 60-year-old man has been cancelled after he was located.

Police issued a news release on Wednesday morning about the man, who had been last seen around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday near Dufferin Avenue and Salter Street in the city's North End.

An hour later, an updated release was sent out saying the man was found.

No information was provided about where he was located.

An earlier version of this story included the man's name and photograph. Those have been removed now that he is no longer missing, in order to protect his privacy.
