New Winnipeg Art Gallery photography exhibit has Winnipeg athletes pose as gods

The Winnipeg Art Gallery has a new photography exhibit featuring local athletes posing as the gods and goddesses of their Olympus exhibit.

The exhibit, called Modern Day Heroes, features a collection of photos from Ian McCausland.

Royal Winnipeg Ballet principal dancer Sophia Lee, Winnipeg Blue Bomber Moe Leggett and university athletes Finn Higgins and Kimberly Moors are featured in the photos.

The athletes selected the god they most identified with from the WAG's Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin exhibit and posed accordingly for McCausland.

Both exhibits run until March 6.
