Manitoba woman last seen in Fort Alexander found safe, say RCMP

A 43-year-old woman who was reported missing over the weekend has been found safe, according to RCMP in southeastern Manitoba.

The woman was last seen Wednesday before leaving her home in the community of Fort Alexander, approximately 100 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, and was reported missing Saturday afternoon, Powerview RCMP had said in a Sunday news release.

RCMP issued an update on Monday evening to say the woman "has been safely located."
