Man, 31, dead in Winnipeg's latest homicide

A 31-year-old man is dead after he was found critically injured in Winnipeg's North End on Wednesday night.

Victim has been identified as Vincent Brian Kipling

A 31-year-old man is dead after he was found critically injured in Winnipeg's North End on Wednesday night.

Police were called about an injured man at Main Street and Stella Avenue around 11 p.m. He had extensive injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he died.

He has been identified as Vincent Brian Kipling.

Police won't say if there was a weapon involved. No arrests have been made.

Police tape, evidence tags and blood marked a large scene Thursday morning, from Main, in front of the Mount Carmel Clinic and along Stella.

Anyone with information about Kipling or his death is urged to contact police.
