"It's the official T-shirt that we'll be using for this year's campaign," said Rebecca Ulrich, provincial education manager for the Canadian Red Cross.

"We really want to reach out and give schools and workplaces and community members the chance to vote on what shirt we'll be wearing."

The Canadian Red Cross said it is looking for Manitobans to vote for one of three designs, two of which feature the word 'respect' in six languages: English, French, Cree, Tagalog, Ojibway, and German.

"We took different ideas from our youth advisory," said Ulrich.

"We have a team of young people that represent different parts of the province and we asked for their ideas and concepts. We then asked our designers within the Red Cross to give us their version of those ideas ... so now we're ready to ask Manitobans to tell us what's their favourite out of the three."

The Canadian Red Cross will reveal the winning design on its Pink Day launch held on Nov. 19, during Bullying Awareness Week. Voters have until Wednesday, Nov. 18 to pick their favourite design.

Pink Shirt Day in Manitoba takes place over two days: Feb. 24 and April 13, 2016.
