Woman killed in south London collision

London police are investigating after a woman was killed in a collision Wednesday morning.

The driver remained on the scene

London police are investigating after a woman was killed in a collision Wednesday morning. 

Emergency crews were called to a parking lot in the 900-block of Wonderland Road South at around 8:50 a.m. They located the woman, who was then transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

She later died of her injuries in hospital. 

The driver involved remained on the scene, police said in a statement. 

Members of the London Police Service (LPS) traffic management unit are investigating.
