Crowds of Londoners celebrating acceptance and diversity will take to the city's downtown this Sunday.

The 23rd Annual London Pride Parade takes place Sunday, July 30. It kicks off at Western Fair District Parking Lot, off Rectory Street, with participants gathering at 10am.

The parade itself will begin at 12:30pm, travelling north on Ontario Street to Queens Avenue. The formation will then head west on Queens to Wellington Street, and north from Wellington to Wolfe Street.

The parade will disperse at Victoria Park, where the annual closing speeches will take place.

This year's Parade Grand Marshall is 62-year-old Londoner Suzanne Couture, who helped organize London's first pride march in 1991.

CBC London is a proud sponsor of the 2017 Pride London Festival.
