Two Ontario men are facing charges related to a human trafficking investigation in London that involves an underaged girl.
London police investigated an incident Monday morning at a hotel in the city's south end. Police say they removed a teenage girl from the situation and brought her to a place of safety.
As a result of the investigation, two men have been charged. Their names have not been released for the safety of the victim's identity.
An Ajax man, 21, is charged with:
- Sexual assault
- Three charges related to communicating with someone for the purpose of obtaining the sexual services of an underaged person
- Trafficking underaged persons by using control
- Financial, material benefit from trafficking an underaged person
- Procuring, recruiting underaged person to provide sexual services for consideration
- Mater benefit from sexual services provided by underaged person
- Advertising another person's sexual services
A London man, 22, is charged by appearance notice with obtaining sexual services for consideration from an underaged person.
