CBC London's Make the Season Kind campaign for the food bank
Help support local food banks this holiday season
You may know it as Sounds of the Season, but this year, we are a part of 24 CBC stations nationwide under a new name: Make the Season Kind. It's our annual holiday campaign in support of the London Food Bank.
The goal is to raise money, food donations and awareness for those facing food insecurity in London. This year, the need is greater than ever.

Reasons to give
Your donation makes a difference for the many people struggling to make ends meet. Since 2015, the CBC has raised more than $51 million for food banks and other charities from coast to coast as part of their annual holiday drives.
Some data to consider from Feed Ontario:
- Some 1 million Ontarians visited a food bank between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024.
- That was a 25 per cent increase from the year before.
- Food banks were visited 7.6 million times last year.
- It's the eighth consecutive year food bank use has risen in the province.
