What's it like to hurtle down an ice track — being tossed around while sitting in a cramped sled?

We asked first time Olympian Alex Kopacz, who won a gold medal Monday in the two-man bobsleigh event.

Kopacz along with teammate Justin Kripps tied the winning time of three minutes 16.86 seconds to share gold with Germany in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Kopacz, who was born and raised in London, gives CBC Radio One's London Morning a vivid description of a run down the bobsleigh track.

From start to finish, we'll let Kopacz take it from here.
